Iran, Sextet Start 1st Round Of Fresh Talks In Almaty

Almaty, Feb 26, IRNA – Representatives of Iran and the sextet, known as P5+1, started first round of fresh talks in ex-Kazakh capital on Tuesday. Iranˈs Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili and European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton are co-chairing the talks on behalf of the Iranian delegation and the P5+1, respectively. P5+1 includes the US, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany. Jaliliˈs deputy for Foreign Policy and International Security Affairs Ali Baqeri and Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Abbas Araqchi are among members of the Iranian delegation accompanying the top negotiator during the talks./end
