Iran Should Maintain Constant Ties With 5+1 States: MP

Tehran, Oct 20, IRNA – Iran should maintain persistent relations with members of the Group 5+1 in order to prevent Zionists from influencing the sextet, a parliamentarian said Sunday. Rapporteur of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Majlis Hossein Naqavi Hosseini made the remarks while commenting on Zionists’ moves following the newly-ended nuclear talks between Iran and representatives of the US, Britain, Russia, France and China plus Germany held in Geneva on October 15-16. “Zionists are severely angry with Iran’s diplomatic activities to resolve its nuclear dispute with the West, therefore, they are trying to avoid reaching an acceptable and rational conclusion through the talks,” Hosseini added. Referring to the visit to Europe of the Zionist officials in the aftermath of the Geneva talks, Hosseini said Tehran should seriously continue its ties with the Group 5+1 member states in order to foil Zionists plots against Iran. At the end of their two-day talks in Geneva, Iran and the P5+1 states agreed to meet again in the Switzerland's capital on November 7-8. They also agreed to keep as secret contents of their discussions. The decision has outraged the Zionist regime which reacted by making anti-Iran propaganda./end
