Iran Should Turn Into World's Most Developed Country: President

Borujen, Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari Prov., Nov 10, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran with reliance on its talented people should turn into the most advanced country in the world. Addressing thousands of enthusiastic people in Borujen, he said all should collaborate to help the government reconstruct the country. Ahmadinejad who is in this southwestern provincial city referred to the plots being hatched by the US and said only pious and committed people of Borujen including the youths are enough to thwart the plots of the global arrogance. A committed nation who believes in unity and faith knows no dead-end, underlined President Ahmadinejad. Those who assume they can deal a blow to the Iranian nation should study history to take a lesson, he said. Those who put pressure on Iran through various means such as sanctions should know that they have no option but to yield to the Iranian nation, he said./end
