Iran Spokesman Condemns Execution Squads In Syria

Tehran, Nov 4, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman condemned terrorist groups acts in forming squads to execute soldiers and innocent people in Syria. According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department on Saturday, Ramin Mihman-parast in reaction to news concerning collective executions by terrorist groups in Syria said that Iran strongly condemns criminal and inhuman acts of terrorist groups in forming squads to execute soldiers and innocent people in Syria. He said responsibility of such calamities is with terrorist supporters. He underlined that undoubtedly efforts of the West and some regional countries to create a security vacuum in Syria will lead to insecurity and instability in the region. The spokesman stressed that stopping violence and establishment of tranquility with help of regional countries through strengthening security in Syrian borders and support for plan of special envoy of the UN Secretary General in Syria affairs Lakhdar Brahimi and establishment of a democratic process through national dialogue would be the sole logical and peaceful solution to Syrian crisis./end
