Iran Sr. Advisor Condemns Last Thursday Terrorist Blast In Syria

Tehran, Feb 24, IRNA – Senior Advisor of Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution in a meeting with Syrian Ambassador to Tehran Adnan Mahmoud here on Saturday condemned terrorist blast of last Thursday in Damascus. Ali Akbar Velayati underlined that terrorist groups which are responsible for this blast are serving Israeli interest. He emphasized that the attacks against Syria is an attack against resistance structure in the region, which Syria is one of the most important rings of it. Velayati emphasized again Iranˈs support for Syria in all fields and Iranˈs intention for continuation of support for resistance front. He also called both countries ministries and bodies to double their efforts to decrease consequences of economic sanctions and provide people with their basic needs. Adnan Mahmoud, for his part, praised Iranˈs stance to defend resistance and appreciated Iranˈs support for Syria./end
