Iran: Terrorism common problem of ME, EU

TEHRAN, Nov. 10 (MNA) – Iranian deputy FM for Arab-African affairs described terrorism as the main and shared cause of problems in the Middle East and Europe. Speaking during his meeting with visiting Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Didier Reynders here on Monday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian underlined that campaign against terrorism should be given the topmost priority. Exchanging viewpoints on regional developments, especially the Syrian and Yemeni crises, the two countries' diplomats stressed the need for seeking political and diplomatic and democratic solutions for the crises in those countries. They stressed the need for effective suppressing of terrorists which pose a threat against all regional and world countries. Reynders stressed that the EU wishes to play a stronger role in the Middle East, whose main problem today is terrorism and extremism, arguing that involvement of all influential countries in the region and the world is a dire need in resolving the regional countries.
