Iran-Vietnam Interested In Global Peace, Justice - President

Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Saturday that Iranian and Vietnamese nations are seeking independence, justice and sustainable peace for the entire world. The President made the remarks in a meeting with Vietnamese Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyễn Sinh Hùng in Hanoi. The Iranian President said the two countries enjoy profound and friendly cooperation, adding that Tehran is determined to boost all-out cooperation with Hanoi. He further stressed the need to exchange experiences between the two countries in order to boost the current level of bilateral ties. For his part, the chairman of Vietnam National Assembly hoped Ahmadinejad's visit to Hanoi would lead to promotion of bilateral relations. He then praised the constructive role the Islamic Republic of Iran has been playing in the international bodies, including the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), in recent years.
