Iranian ambassador submits credentials to Ugandan president

Tehran, Dec 14, IRNA – Iran's new Ambassador to Kampala Morteza Mortazavi presented his credentials to the Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni. According to Iran's Embassy in Kampala, President Museveni said there are no restrictions on the expansion of relations between the two countries. The Ugandan president also said his country welcomes any kind of practical cooperation with Iran in different areas including agriculture, industry, and electricity. He further officially invited his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani to visit Uganda. For his part, the new ambassador elaborated on the Iranian companies' capabilities in agriculture, energy, oil and industry which can be used as fields of bilateral cooperation. 1378/IRNA
