Iranian Citizen Kidnapped In Syria, Released

Tehran, Dec 9, IRNA – Iranian Arabic TV Network 'Al-Aalam' said on Saturday that an Iranian citizen, who had been kidnapped in Rif district of Damascus, has been released. Al-Aalam named the person 'Majid Adeli' adding that he was working in Iran's Cultural Attaché Office in Syria. The network continued that Syrian armed groups, with support of certain countries, in a series of inhuman acts, in addition to massacre of civilians and demolishing public buildings and residential areas, are now kidnapping foreign countries citizens residing in Syria. It said that the groups want to use this as a tool to put pressure on Syrian government and its supporters./end
