Iranian FM : Iran resolved in securing nation’s rights

TEHRAN, Sept.2 (MNA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iran is resolved in securing nuclear rights of the nation. Zarif, who was receiving Belgian parliament speaker Patrick Dewael on Monday, said that nuclear negotiators would work to eliminate illegal and illegitimate sanctions by the western powers. Zarif said that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s policies hinged upon moderation, constructive cooperation and mutual respect. He also assessed that Iran and Belgium parliamentary relations as important and welcomed expansion of ties with Brussels. He also called for more opportunities to dialogue which he believed would contribute to better mutual understanding of the two countries. Zarif and Dewael discussed the latest developments in the Middle East especially in Iraq and ISIL and the threat of terrorism for the whole region. Zarif believed that the WAVE – World Against Violence and Extremism – proposed by President Rouhani was a good platform for anti-terrorist cooperation internationally, and that collective will and campaign were the real solution for terrorism worldwide.
