Iranian Navy delegation meets Pakistani top brass commanders

Karachi, December 17, IRNA – An Iranian Navy delegation here Tuesday evening met and conferred with a delegation of high-ranking Pakistani Army commanders. The Iranian delegation led by Brigadier General Khordad Hakimi, the commander of Imam Khomeini (P) Naval Sciences University in Noshahr and his accompanying delegation had arrived in Pakistan’s Karachi Port earlier in the day. The Pakistani commanders were led by Pakistan’s Joint Chief of Staff General Rashed Mohammad and included the Pakistani Navy Commander General Mohammad Zoka Allah and his predecessor, General Asef Sandila. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the graduation ceremony of 120 Pakistani Navy cadets in Karachi Port and was attended also by the Iranian Military Attaché to Pakistan, General Sedaqat Sohrabi. The two countries’ high-ranking military officials exchanged viewpoint on cooperation between the Iranian and the Pakistani naval forces and emphasized the need for strengthening cooperation between them./end
