Iranian New Envoy To IAEA Arrives In Vienna

Vienna, Sept 8, IRNA – Iranian new ambassador to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Reza Najafi arrived in Vienna Saturday morning to undertake his potfolio. Najafi has previously served as deputy director general of Foreign Ministry Department for Political and International Affairs, head of Disarmament and International Security Office of Foreign Ministry, Iranian representative to the UN Disarmament Committee in New York and Iranian deputy representative to Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. He has also been member of Iranian team to international conferences such as a conference to review nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and IAEA Board of Governors. He replaced Ali Asghar Soltanieh whose mission expired last week./end
