Iranian official rejects PGCC claims about three Iranian islands

TEHRAN,May 28(MNA) – Iran once again rejected the claims by the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) to question Iran’s sovereignty over the three Persian Gulf islands of Abu Musa and the Greater and Lesser Tunbs. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Araqchi said on Sunday that the three islands are inseparable parts of Iran, adding that such comments indicate that the PGCC is under the influence of a number of its member states.
