Iranian president throws iftar party for reformers

TEHRAN,July 10(MNA) – On Wednesday, President Hassan Rouhani invited nearly 200 pro-reform figures for an iftar party, an evening meal served during Ramadan, at the presidential house on Wednesday. The list of guests included journalist Mohammad Ghouchani, university professor Mohsen Rahami, former MPs Ali Shakouri-Rad, Ali Tajernia, and Ahmad Shirzad, a former caretaker science minister Jafar Milimonfared, former science minister Mostafa Moeen, and political scientist and former MP Elaheh Koulaei. The president had invited a number of conservative figures to an iftar party last Thursday as well.
