Iranian-Russian Ministers Review Bilateral Ties In Beijing

Beijing, June 6, IRNA – Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari and his Russian counterpart Denis Manturov here on Wednesday reviewed avenues to bolster bilateral trade and industrial cooperation. The talks were held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit meeting under way in the Chinese capital. The Iranian minister voiced Tehran’s readiness to sign a preferential trade agreement with Moscow He hoped the worth of bilateral trade exchanges would reach dlrs 6-8 billion. The Russian trade minister too called for fostering cooperation between the two countries, saying the SCO meeting is be an ample opportunity for exchange of views among the participant delegates./end
