Iranian SNSC secretary meets Ayatollah Sistani in Najaf

NAJAF, May 26 (MNA) - The secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Saeed Jalili, held a meeting with Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani in Najaf on Friday and discussed a range of issues, including relations between Tehran and Baghdad, with him. Jalili also met with a number of other Iraqi religious leaders and visited the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abolfazl (AS) in Karbala. Jalili had visited Iraq which hosted nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany). The talks which started on Wednesday continued until late Thursday. The two sides agreed to meet again in Moscow on June 18 and 19.
