Iranian Specialized Nurses Ready To Go To Gaza

Tehran, Aug 2, IRNA – A team of 30 Iranian specialized nurses has voiced readiness to go to the Gaza Strip to help the defenseless people who are under devastating military attacks of the Zionist forces, it was reported on Saturday. A senior official at the Nursing Organization of Iran (NOI) said the team consists of 30 male and female nurses fully trained to render medical care to victims of wars and natural disasters. The nurses are members of Iranˈs Crisis Nursing Program initiated for training specialized nurses to provide specialized medical care to victims of various crises, the NOIˈs Director for International Affaris Ahmad Nejatian said. He added that the NOI is making necessary consultations with the International Council of Nurses (ICN) to facilitate the dispatch of the Iranian nursing team to the Gaza Strip. The Zionist regime has been pounding Gaza since July 8. It began a ground offensive against the impoverished Palestinian land on July 17. Tel Avivˈs savage attacks have, so far, left over 1,600 dead and thousands of wounded. Over 300 children have been killed so far./end
