Iranians, Muslims Gather In Front Of US Embassy In Copenhagen

Tehran, Feb 6, IRNA – A group of Iranians joined by a number of Muslims living in Denmark gathered in front of the US embassy in Copenhagen to urge Washington not to interfere in the Middle East affairs. They also voiced their support for Iran’s peaceful nuclear program. The protesters, who were carrying Iran's flags and banners inscribed with “nuclear energy for all countries” called on the US and European countries not to try to halt Iran’s scientific progress through illegal actions and unjust sanctions. In a statement read at the gathering, they rejected the US and Europe allegations against Iran and stressed that Tehran’s nuclear activities are for peaceful purposes.
