Iran's Army Ground Forces To Conduct Several War-games Across Country

Tehran, June 10, IRNA – Commander of the Armyˈs Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said on Sunday that the Iranian forces under his command are to conduct several war games to maintain their combat readiness across the country this year. Iranian army ground forces are to stage the war games in southeastern and northeastern parts of the country involving armored and non-armored military units to demonstrate their combat readiness as well as their power, he said. These maneuvers would make the Iranian forces ready to seriously deal with any threats, he said. Referring to Beit-ul-Moqadass 25 war game in Isfahan province, he said the drill was very successful in attaining its predefined goals./end
