Iran's Deterring Power Confused Enemies : IRGC Navy Commander

Bushehr, Sept 3, IRNA – Navy commander of the Islamic Revolution's Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Ali Fadavi said that IR Iran's enemies have become confused due to the deterring power of Islamic Republic of Iran. Brigadier General Fadavi noted that the present power of Islamic Iran is not comparable with the past in the same way as the feeling of inferiority of the oppressors is not comparable to the past. 'We are witnessing the defeat of the Great Satan (the US) in its confrontation with the Iranian nation which shows that the Islamic system of Iran enjoys the ever-lasting power of the God,' he added. Referring to the upward trend in the weakness of the US vis-à-vis the Iranian nation, Brigadier General Fadavi said that it is not only that the US does not tolerate us (Iran), but we ourselves have imposed such lack of tolerance on the US. 'The US in order to confront Iran applies such methods that even a weak country does not commit them,' he added. Brigadier General Fadavi said that Iran has achieved such capabilities and potentials in different areas that even the enemies acknowledge it. 'If the US has not managed to harm Iran it is not because it did not want to do so, but it is not within its ability to do so,' he added. The IRGC navy commander said that if it was not due IR Iran's capabilities and strength, the US would not tolerate to attack Iran./end
