Iran's Leader: Infiltration targets elites, decision makers

TEHRAN, Nov. 25 (MNA) – Thousands of Basij commanders met with Ayatollah Khamenei this morning where he warned against infiltration in country. Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei received thousands of voluntary force Basij commanders on Wednesday morning on the occasion of Basij Day in Iran where he warned against enemy’s infiltration which exploits money and sex appeals to change lifestyle of the nation. Ayatollah Khamenei described infiltration of movements as more dangerous than penetration of individuals and reiterated the necessity of awareness and vigilance towards threat of infiltration. “Infiltration is an issue of vital importance; some say infiltration is used as means of partisan benefits, well, don’t do that; political parties do not accuse each other; saying that some people try to exploit ‘infiltration’ for partisan objectives does not undermine the significance of the issue of enemy’s ‘infiltrations,’ the very reality of infiltration must not be ignored, as enemy is plotting,” Leader asserted. “Infiltration of movements is more dangerous than infiltration of individuals. Infiltration of movements means formation of networks inside nation using money and sex appeals to change beliefs, ideals, views and lifestyle of our people. Infiltration of movements targets elites, influential figures and decision makers,” highlighted he. Ayatollah Khamenei dubbed Basij as an ‘eternal treasure’ as ‘endless’ as the nation and criticized those accusing Basij of radicalism for completing enemy’s infiltration project. “Basij is a fortified trench which must not be weakened.” Said Leader and that “Global conflict is between arrogance movement which is represented by the US and movement of values, national and identity independence which is represented by Basij.” Pointing to recent uprisings in occupied lands of Palestine, the Leader of the Revolution highlighted that “Palestinian Intifada has already begun in West Bank and people are fighting; it has been over 60 years since occupation of Palestine and generations have changed, but the Palestinian cause still exists.” “Enemy wants to eradicate Palestinian cause and ideal,” highlighted Ayatollah Khamenei and asserted that “we support Palestinian people’s movement by all means.” Pointing to years of protests in Bahrain where majority of people are deprived of right to vote, he rhetorically asked “What is wrong with demands of Bahrain people? They demand suffrage for all. Don’t you claim democracy? Anything more clear?!” and slammed the ruling minority of the tiny Arab country which was appointed to power by the Britain for desecrating sacred beliefs and entities of the majority population; “this is enough embarrassing for tyrant minority in Bahrain that they follow Yazid [tyrant ruler in early years of Islam who ordered massacre of Imam Hussein on the Day of Ashura in year 61 Hegira] and support Yazid.” Ayatollah Khamenei also censored international human rights organizations for remaining silent vis-à-vis months of airstrikes and bombardment of innocent people of Yemen by Saudi-led coalition which is supported by US. Regarding the Syrian crisis, the Leader criticized Arrogance system for “directly and indirectly supporting most devilish terrorists in Syria;” “They are directly and indirectly supporting most devilish and cruelest terrorists in Syria. They insist on setting conditions for formation of government in Syria.
