Iran`s Majlis votes against MP Motahhari’s resignation

TEHRAN, Nov. 2 (MNA) - Majlis on Wednesday voted against the resignation of vocal MP Ali Motahhari.

Of 198 votes cast, 155 MPs voted against resignation, 31 for, and 12 abstained.

Voting took place after six lawmakers presented speeches against Motahhari’s resignation.
