Iran's VP In Int'l Affairs Departs For Minsk

Tehran, Feb 8, IRNA – Iran's Vice-President in international affairs Ali Saeedlou departed Tehran for Minsk, capital of Belarus, for a 2-day visit on Tuesday evening. The VP, who was in Pakistan heading an economic delegation including representatives from private sectors, met with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Speaker of Senate Farooq Naek as well as ministers of Finance and Commerce during his 3-day visit. The aim of his visit to Pakistan was consultation in the field of expansion of economic ties between Tehran and Islamabad and promotion of economic exchange between private sectors of both countries. Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari also departed for Minsk today heading a high ranking delegation for a 5-day visit./end
