Iran`s Zeinab Society chief Maryam Behrouzi dies

TEHRAN, Feb. 19 (MNA) – Maryam Behrouzi, the secretary general of the principlist Zeinab Society, died on Saturday of cancer diseases. Behrouzi, 66, was an active campaigner against the Pahlavi regime. She was very active in founding political, cultural and social institutes after the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Behrouzi, a trained theologian, also represented the people of Tehran in parliament for four terms.
