Iran,Tajik Ministers Underline Fight Against Terrorism, Narcotic Drugs Smuggling

Tehran, Sept 11, IRNA – Iranˈs Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli in a meeting with his Tajik counterpart Rakhimzoda Ramazon Hamro in Dushanbe on Wednesday underlined the need for increased bilateral cooperation and devising new mechanisms to counter terrorism and smuggling of narcotic drugs. The two sides also discussed ways of joint cooperation on security matters, fight against terrorism and smuggling of narcotic drugs, exchange of experiences and holding specialized courses for experts. The two sides also agreed to form a working group to follow up the contents of an agreement inked by the two ministers in presence of Iranian and Tajik presidents on Wednesday./end
