Iraq Conflict A Conspiracy By US, Israel: Indian Politician

New Delhi, June 28, IRNA – Urging Muslims, across the globe, to be vigilant, an Indian politician Friday said that Iraq conflict is a conspiracy by the US and Israel to defame Islam. In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Hasan Ahmed, MLA of Delhi Assembly said: “There is no conflict between Shias and Sunnis, the two sects of Muslims. Whatsoever is portrayed in Iraq is a conspiracy by the US and Israel to create the rift among Muslims across the globe.ˈ He said that the barbaric crimes, committed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Lavant (ISIL) group, indicates that the group is inhuman and doesn’t belong to any religion, but are the agents of the US and Israel. “Religion never supports any kind of violence, killing of innocent people,” added Indian leader. Elaborating his statement, Hasan Ahmed said: “The US and Israel, for their vested interests, has fuelled sectarian tensions in Iraq.ˈ He warned that the upheaval in Iraq could engulfed the region, if not stopped. Senior Congress leader, when asked for the solution of the conflict, replied: ˈMaintaining unity between Shiites and Sunnis is urgent need of the hour. All Iraqi nation belonging to all religious schools of thought or ethnic community should unitedly fight against sectarianism and should drive the ISIL group out of the country.ˈ Expressing deep concerned with deteriorating situation in Iraq, Indian Legislature expressed solidarity with the victims. Hasan Ahmed also urged the UN and all other peace-loving countries to extend a helping hand to the Government and the people of Iraq in their fight against international terrorism, which is in the interest of regional and global peace and security./end
