Iraqi Vice President Maliki visits Qom

Qom, Nov 11, IRNA – Visiting Iraqi Vice President Nouri Al Maliki arrived in Qom Monday night and paid homage to the holy shrine of Lady Fatehem Al Ma’soumeh (P) of Prophet Muhammad’s Holy Household. Maliki was received upon arrival in Qom by the province’s governor general and his deputies and then they together paid tribute to Lady Ma’soumeh’s holy shrine. Al Maliki later on visited Shiite source of jurisprudence Grand Ayatollah Kazzem Ha’eri and briefed him on the latest developments in Iraq. The Iraqi first vice president arrived in Iran on Sunday and has thus far had meetings with a number of high ranking Iranian officials, including the Leader of the Islamic Revolution./end
