TEHRAN, Oct.1 (MNA) – The Irish House of Commons speaker said he hoped to see Iran's nuclear issue to be resolved soon. In a joint press conference with Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, the Speaker of Irish House of Commons Seán Barrett said he hoped that the negotiations on Tehrna nucelar issue would be resolved soon. In this meeting Larijani noted that the two parliament speakers talked on Iran’s and the G5+1 nuclear talks and said “Ireland is a member of the European Union and we commend their view on resolving issues since it is closer to reality.” “Certain significant regional issues as well as parliamentary cooperation and development of economic relations were discussed in this meeting,” Larijani said “we also touched upon the issue that countering terrorism must be done in a wiser and more calculated way.” Seán Barrett, chairman of a parliamentary house in Ireland, expressed hope that the results of the talks with Iran’s parliament speaker will lead to the development of the two countries’ relations. “During the visit of Iran’s Parliamentary Friendship Group to Ireland, good talks took place,” Seán Barrett said and added “today we had good talks with Ali Larijani regarding nuclear issues. These issues must resolve as fast as possible so that Iran can reach its full capacity.” Barrett stressed that Ireland will always express its opinions as an independent and neutral country and said “we place great value on maintaining peace and have had a lot of experiences in this regard; for instance, our forces have been highly active in Lebanon to maintain peace."
