Islamic Revolution Prevented U.S. To Plunder: President

Tehran, Nov 14, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that after the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution the plunderers of wealth of Muslim nations had less opportunity and hence were restricted, and the US government came to realize that it could not continue as it did. President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a meeting with the members of the International Association of Muslim Publishers in Tehran on Sunday. “Now the occupying powers have come to repeat their dominating role in the world,” he added. Recalling the fact that the arrogant powers took control of the region with the military force, President Ahmadinejad noted that they imposed the ugliest fake government on Palestine and the regional governments. Referring to the fact that the existence of the Zionist regime is being threatened, he said that they (the US and its allies) want to both save the Zionist regime and at the same time save their own pillars. “Today, all the screams should target the colonialist powers, the US and its allies,” President Ahmadinejad said while noting that the spirit of cooperation is needed at the present more than any time before. Commenting on the measures taken by the West and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Libya, he said that he had been notified that before establishment of the popular government in Libya, the NATO member-states were considering pillaging the wealth of the Libyan people in the sense that some wanted to take control of the trade and others control energy sector, and yet other take control of other sectors. “They have their eyes on $170 billion of the reserves of the Libyan nation, and also Libya’s oil and energy reserves,” he added. President Ahmadinejad noted that two schools of thought tries to dominate the world over past 100 years and they were Marxists and Liberals. “Nearly half of the world was under the control of Marxists over past 70 years,” he added. The president noted that the Marxists destroyed many humanitarian talents and tens of millions of people were suppressed. “Fortunately, the baseless man-made school of Marxism faced deadlock in practice,” the chief executive said. He noted that the Liberalism also left more than 100 million people killed over past century. “There are more than three billion hungry people in the world today,” President Ahmadinejad added./end
