Islamic Revolution, Source Of Inspiration For Islamic Awakening: MP

Islamabad, May 30, IRNA – A Pakistani lawmaker on Tuesday praising the role of Iran for the stability of Ummah said that Islamic Revolution had been the source of inspiration for Islamic awakening movements in Muslim world. Talking to IRNA Senator Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq of Pakistan Muslim League-N said that today because of steadfastness, Iranian nation is progressing in all fields. The politician said that fruits of Islamic Revolution of Iran can be seen in the whole Islamic world. He said that Islamic Revolution was a step toward Quran and said that Iranians are among the most powerful nations in the world because of resorting to teachings of Islam. The political leader paid homage to founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini adding that Imam Khomeini is a beacon for the Muslim Ummah. He was of the view that Iran has become a role model for other Muslim countries. “Iran has emerged as a symbol of resilience,” he noted. Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq viewed that Iran has followed the policy of self-reliance and taught the other countries to rely upon indigenous resources. The Senator said that today Iran has achieved the status of a respectable nation through their struggle. The political leader said that sanctions imposed on Iran have only expedited the nation's development and progress and strengthened national solidarity. The PML-N leader believed that sanctions have made Iran stronger. “Iran is progressing in missile and nuclear technology they are far ahead of many countries in the world,” said the lawmaker. Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq said that Muslims should unite to counter anti-Islam conspiracies of West adding that ‘we must take guidance from the teachings of Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in this regard.’/end
