Islamic Revolution, Source Of Inspiration For Mankind: Indian Scholar

New Delhi, Feb 6, IRNA – An Indian Shia scholar Wednesday said that the Islamic Revolution led by Imam Khomeini is still a source of inspiration for the mankind and also challenging the hegemonic powers. Talking to IRNA, Maulana Syed Jalal Haider Naqvi, President Shaheed Motahhari Society in New Delhi said, ˈThe victory of the Islamic Revolution was a turning point not only for the Muslim world but for all the oppressed and have made them more vigilant against oppressors”. He noted that today’s waves of Islamic Awakening throughout the world which are developing rapidly are the impacts of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran. He maintained that today Iran has become a symbol despite the severe attempts made by the US and its allies. Jalal denounced the US and its allies for their ill conceived policies towards Iran./end
