Israel Responsible For Kidnapping Iranian Diplomats: Official

Beirut, July 8, IRNA – President advisor Maryam Mojtahedzadeh said the Zionist regime is responsible for kidnapping Iranian diplomats and, now with the Islamic Awakening, any kind of silence towards this regim is unacceptable. She made the remarks in a ceremony to commemorate the 30th anniversary of kidnapping four Iranian diplomats here in south of Lebanon. The advisor, whose husband is one of the four diplomats, said evidence shows that agents of the Zionist regime, after kidnapping the diplomats, took them to the occupied territory of Palestine. She called the UN and the international bodies to form a fact-finding committee and visit the Zionist regime prisons. Mojtahedzadeh added that the Zionist regime is the biggest security and psychological threat against humanity and this regime cannot hide behind West and the US support anymore. In the ceremony, statue of Ahmad Motevasselian, one oif the kidnapped diplomats, was mounted in a place in the zero point of border between Lebanon and the Zionist regime./end
