Israel Should Be Tried For War Crimes:Iran Official

Tehran, Aug 11, IRNA - Majlis Vice-Speaker Mohammad Hassan Abutorabi-Fard said here on Monday that the time is ripe for the international community to assess the Israeli regimeˈs criminal behaviors through the United Nations and based on international laws. He made the remarks at a meeting of the Permanent Committee for Social and Cultural Affairs of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly. He also stressed that the international community should put on trial at a war criminal court the agents behind the ongoing genocide and mass destructions in Gaza. The people of the world have once again realized that the Zionist regime would not comply with order, law and ethics, the MP said. According to latest statistics, the death toll from brutal Israeli assaults in Gaza has reached 1,800, with most of the fatalities being civilians, he said. He added that some 408 kids were among those killed in the brutal Israeli raids./end
