Issues of Georgian-Azerbaijani-Turkish military cooperation discussed in Tbilisi

Tbilisi, Georgia, Oct.23 By Nana Kirtzkhalia – Trend: Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania and Chief of Turkish Armed Forces General Staff, Army General Necdet Ozel discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation between Turkey and Georgia during a meeting in Tbilisi. The regional security was one of the main topics, the Ministry of Defense of Georgia said Oct.23. The Turkish side expressed its readiness to assist Georgia in implementing the basic package of NATO. Georgian Defense Minister thanked the Turkish side for its support and contribution to the development of the armed forces. Alasania noted the need to deepen Turkish-Azerbaijani-Georgian military cooperation.
