IX Economic Forum kicks off in Astana

AZERTAC is one of the media partners of the event entitled "The new economic realities: diversification, innovation and the knowledge economy" Astana, May 25, AZERTAC IX Astana Economic Forum (AEF) has today kicked off in Astana. The event gathers representatives of the world economic community, current and former heads of state, Nobel Prize winners, globally respected scholars and businessmen. About 5 thousand delegates from 80 countries are taking part at the event. The agenda of the IX AEF, is “The new economic reality: diversification, innovations and the knowledge economy. This year “Great Silk Road Countries” Forum will be held within AEF. The event will discuss infrastructure opportunities in Europe and Asia, the world economy: innovation and technology, Green Economy: social innovation, economic growth and environment. Speaker of the plenary session entitled “Forum of the Great Silk Road countries: energy, resources and sustainable development”, will be Taleh Ziyadov, Director General of the Baku International Sea Trade Port.
