Jahangiri : Iran Expects Western Govts To Lift Arbitrary Sanctions

Tehran, Aug 21, IRNA -- First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran expects the western governments to lift arbitrary sanctions which regarded as human rights violation against Iranian nation. Jahangiri made the remarks in a farewell ceremony of former minister of economy and finance and inauguration of the new minister. Iran is a stable country in the Middle East region, he said adding that the 11th government tries to protect the rights of Iranian nation by requiring the western governments to lift the unfair sanctions. He said that lifting the sanctions will be possible by practicing rationality in dealing with the world and paying due attention to the views of the experts. On the need to augment national products to thwart impacts of the sanctions, he said that growth of national products can help resolve most of the problems. Elsewhere in his remarks, Jahangiri said that the ground is well-prepared to broaden economic cooperation with the world./end
