Jalili: Islamˈs Potentials To Pave Path Of Advancement, Stability In Azerbaijan

Tehran, May 20, IRNA – Secretary of National Security Council (SNSC) Saˈeid Jalili, said here Sunday in a meeting with Head of Caucasus Muslims Office and his accompanying delegations Islamˈs potentials would pave path of advancement and stability in Azerbaijan. Jalili in the meeting with Allahshukur Pashazadeh also announced the Islamic republic of Iranˈs readiness for broadening the sphere of its comprehensive cooperation with Azerbaijan Republic. He said that the friendly relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Azerbaijan Republic are deep-rooted and strong and the two Muslim nations feel very close to each other, he said, ˈThe Islamic Republic of Iran considers the independence, advancement and stability of Azerbaijan Republic as its own progress, and just as always, would spare no effort in that respect.ˈ The SNSC secretary pointed out that the religious and Islamic potentials of the Azerbaijan Republic are the best backing for preserving the territorial integrity, advancement, and security of that country, and in order to solve the problems taking advantage of that potential is necessary. He said that the plots hatched by the big powers are aimed at fomenting instability and discord thru resorting to such means as terrorism and taking disadvantage of democracy, and taking advantage of the regional countriesˈ potentials for dismantling those bog powersˈ plots is needed. The Head of the Caucasus Muslims Office Allahshukur Pashazadeh, too, said at the meeting that the two nations and governmentsˈ relations are unique and brotherly and the Iranian and Azerbaijani nations have historical relations.
