Jalili: West Concerned About Islamic Thoughts, Not Nuclear Activities

Tehran, Feb 1, IRNA - Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said on Tuesday that the West is now concerned about the promotion of Islamic thoughts and not nuclear activities. Jalili made the remark in a meeting with the Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad of Palestine Ramadan Abdullah on Tuesday. Global arrogance is angry with Iran’s prominent role in the Muslim world, he said. Highlighting the pivotal role of resistance in the wave of Islamic awakening and in regional and global developments, Jalili said Palestine is regarded as the common issue of world Muslims. Martyred Iranian nuclear scientists helped revive Islamic civilization and they set a role model for university students and professors in the world of Islam, he said. The Palestinian envoy, for his part, said Iran’s success has enlightened the path of Islamic movements in the region./end
