J.Amarsanaa participates in meeting of AACC

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The head of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia J.amarsanaa participated in the meeting of Board of Members of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions and in the international conference for 51st anniversary of Turkey's Constitutional Court in Ankara on April 24-25. The inaugural congress of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC) on May 20-24 of 2012, adopted the Seoul Declaration, which contains the significance of the Congress and future directions for the Association, besides, the Constitutional courts of Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Russian Federation, Pakistan, S.Korea, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Philippines joined the Association as founding members. At this year's event, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan joined the Association, and Georgia became an observer-country of AACC. Mr J.Amarsanaa has met its counterparts from Turkey and other countries to speak about relations and cooperation during the international conference for the 51st anniversary of Constitutional court of Turkey. Its head Hasim Kilic addressed the gathered. The AACC is the autonomous, independent and non-political organization established in July of 2010 to increase the exchanges of information and experience related to constitutional adjudication and to promote cooperation and friendship between institutions exercising constitutional jurisdiction, contributing to the development of democracy, rule of law and fundamental rights in Asia. The Constitutional Court of Turkey is playing a leading role the Asian constitutional courts and equivalent institutions. The Constitutional Court of Turkey will hold the 2nd congress in 2014, and every summer will be organized training and seminars for officials of the Constitutional court of member-countries.
