Jannati Slams West, Arab States Silence On Zionist Crimes

Tehran, July 14, IRNA - Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, Secretary of the Guardian Council, in a statement released on Monday, criticized certain Western and Arab states for their silence towards the Zionist regimeˈs crimes in Gaza. The so-called advocates of human rights in the West and certain Arab supporters of terrorists in Iraq and Syria are backing the Israeli crimes in Gaza by their silence, he added. Jannati noted that the Palestinian resistance movements will triumph over the Zionist regime with the help of the Almighty. The Zionist regime has launched over 200 air strikes against civilian targets in Gaza in the past seven days. The death toll in Gaza has risen to at least 172 while several hundreds have been wounded. Most of the victims are women and children./end
