Japan notes all factors in talks with Russia over Putin’s visit due in autumn

TOKYO, July 29 (Itar-Tass) - Japanese government takes into account the whole scope of factors in talks with Russia over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit planned in Japan in autumn, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga told a news conference in the Japanese capital on Tuesday. “Nothing is settled over Putin’s visit in Japan yet. We would like to take into account the complex scope of factors,” the Japanese high-ranking state official said. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday that Russia adhered to the position that the agreements on Russian president’s visit in Japan remain in effect. “According to our ethical rules it is common practice to be polite,” the minister said, adding that “When an invitation is received, it is being considered and adopted and we proceed from an assumption that an invitation extended to us was accepted and an inviting party confirmed specific agreements.” “All the rest depends from us,” Lavrov added.
