Japan to Work with Malaysia under Mahathir: Suga

Tokyo, May 11 (Jiji Press)--Japan will work even more closely with Malaysia, where Mahathir Mohamad has come back as prime minister, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said Friday. "We'll continue promoting cooperation in various fields, including responses to regional issues, under the bilateral strategic partnership," Suga told a press conference. Mahathir, 92, became prime minister again after Wednesday's general election in the Southeast Asian nation.
