Jewish Community Backs President Rouhani’s Stance In NY

Tehran, Oct 14, IRNA – Head of Jewish community in Iran in a letter expressed the community’s support for President Hassan Rouhani's stance in New York. Homayoun Sameyah Najafabadi said the Jewish community in Iran is proud of the speech delivered by President Rouhani at the UN General Assembly. He said the Iranian President’s UN address was based on logic and reiterated the Iranian nation’s rights. As to visit to New York of the Jewish representative at the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) Siamak Mare Sedq accompanying President Rouhani, Najafabadi described it as special attention paid by the Iranian government to the Jewish community./end
