Karzai: Iran-Afghanistan Ties In An Excellent Level

Kabul, Jan 6, IRNA – President Hamid Karzai in a meeting with Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said that relations between the two countries in recent years have deepened and are in an excellent level now. In the meeting, Jalili expressed Iran's readiness to help development in Afghanistan, adding that good and sustainable relations between Iran and Afghanistan have been formed upon deep friendship and historical background. He praised Afghan people historical background in not accepting aliens and called it a big asset for Afghanistan government in national sovereignty./end
