Kashani: Presidential Election Hopefuls Must Have Plans, Programs

Tehran, May 4, IRNA – Interim Friday Prayer Imam of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani said here Friday that the upcoming Presidential Election hopefuls must have detailed and prioritized programs, not general ones. Ayatollah Kashani was referring to the joint holding of the City and Rural Areas Councils and the 11th Presidential Elections in June, 2013, adding in his second sermon, ˈIn addition to detailed plans, the Presidential Elections candidates must be powerful as the Supreme Leader as stressed and capable of management.ˈ He pointed out that the candidates must clearly announce their work plans for the countryˈs industries, agriculture, status of money and the dollar price, employment, and production, adding, ˈMerely chanting slogans and insulting the others will not lead you anywhere.ˈ Member of the Leadership Experts Assembly noted that the Presidential Election candidates must both define their priorities and the solutions for them, adding, ˈSaying that regarding the United States I would do such and such is neither within the power of that person, nor within the rights of that individual, as this in an issue which is based on the Constitution up to the Supreme Leader of the Muslims.ˈ Emami-Kashani reiterated, ˈThe Presidential Elections candidates should elaborate their plans within the limits of implementing their duties and to step forth if they can perform within that sphere, and otherwise, just step aside.ˈ The Interim Friday prayer imam of Tehran referred to the efforts made by the enemies aimed at completing the siege of Iran politically, economically, and culturally, reiterating, ˈPresence at the Election poles is a divine must and this enthusiastic presence can push back the enemy.
