Kazakh Envoy Calls For Removal Of Sanctions On Iran

Tehran, May 19, IRNA – Kazakhstan Ambassador to Tehran Amreev Bagdat Kultaevich said on Sunday that his country supports Iranˈs right for peaceful use of nuclear energy, calling for removal of illegal sanctions on Iran. In a meeting with Iranˈs Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi on Sunday, he termed Iran-Kazakh relations as strategic. Kultaevich praised Iranˈs logical stance in nuclear talks with G5+1 and hoped that the illegal sanctions will be removed soon. He welcomed cooperation with Iran in carrying out economic development projects including renovation of transport and transit routes, railway networks and infrastructure in Kazakhstan. The official invited Vaezi to visit Astana, Kazakhstan. Vaezi for his part called for expansion of bilateral relations with Astana. He called Tehran-Astana relations as historical and cultural.
