Kazakhstan to intensify efforts to resolve regional conflicts

Baku, Azerbaijan, Apr.29 By Elena Kosolapova – Trend: Kazakhstan will intensify its efforts for the peaceful resolution of regional conflicts, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the inauguration ceremony in Astana on April 29, RIA Novosti reported. "Kazakhstan's diplomacy will intensify its efforts for a peaceful settlement of acute regional conflicts in the Islamic World and the post-Soviet space", the president said. Nazarbayev noted that the successful implementation of the plan on country’s development requires a favorable international environment. As a leader in Central Asia, Kazakhstan will support the overall security, the economic development of our region, he said. "We will continue to work with our strategic partners such as Russia, China, the US, the EU, the Islamic countries. We will work actively in international organizations," - Nazarbayev said.
