Kazakhstan, Turkey discuss bilateral cooperation

Azerbaijan, Baku, Aug. 16 / Trend E. Kosolapova / Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the President of Turkey Abdullah Gul, the press service of the President of Kazakhstan reported. The meeting was held in the framework of the third Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (CCTS) in Gabala (Azerbaijan). "The meeting discussed key aspects of bilateral relations and topical international issues," according to the press service. In particular, the heads of state touched upon priorities in trade and economic, industrial and innovation, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The sides noted the good momentum of development of relations given the existing strategic partnership between the two countries. Nursultan Nazarbayev and Abdullah Gul also underlined the broad prospects for comprehensive cooperation aimed at ensuring the well-being of the peoples of the two countries, the report said.
