Kazakhstan, Turkey intend to remove all obstacles in economic cooperation

Astana, Kazakhstan, April 25 By Daniyar Mukhtarov - Trend: Kazakhstan is ready to provide Turkey with new conditions for mutually beneficial cooperation in June, the Kazakh Ministry of Economy said on April 24. "The food and light industries, as well as within the Second Five-Year State Program on Forced Industrial-Innovative Development are the most attractive," Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev said at a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Nihat Zeybekci. While discussing the trade-economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, the sides stressed their stability and future growth. "The opportunities and capacity of our economies allows us to reach a new level of cooperation," he said. "All obstacles must be removed by late 2014." Turkey holds a key place in the south-west direction of Kazakhstan's foreign policy. The trade turnover amounted to $3.495.6 billion between Kazakhstan and Turkey in 2013, exports - $2.595.1 billion, import - $900.6 million.
