Kermani: World To Wish Israel Death If Informed Of Zionistsˈ Crimes

Tehran, Aug 2, IRNA – If world nations will be properly informed about disgusting crimes committed by Israel they will unanimously pray to God for the death of the racist Zionist regime, interim Friday Prayer Imam of Tehran said in his 2nd sermon here today. ˈGaza developments comprise the most important news for the Islamic world today and the heartbreaking bitter news about that murderer and blood thirsty regime are inclusive of killing lots of innocent children,ˈ said Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Movahhedi-Kermani, addressing thousands of Tehrani worshipers. He said that despite the biased news dispatching of the world news giants that are under the influence of the international Zionist lobby, the world nations are gradually getting aware about the nasty nature of that wretched regime. ˈI am sure if one day the world news agenciesˈ reporters will be allowed to freely observe and also report the developments in Gaza the reflection of the news will beyond doubt lead to the entire world nationsˈ chanting of death to that blood thirsty regime,ˈ added Kermani. He pointed out that the criminal acts of the racist Zionist regime were so vast scale, and deeply heartbreaking that they cannot be described, and are comparable only to that illegitimate regimeˈs September, 1982 genocide of Palestinians in Sabra and Shatila Palestinian refugee camps, where Israel massacred 3,297 people within a 48 hour period. ˈ1,800 dead bodies were abandoned in the devastated streets, 1,097 injured people were transferred to Gaza hospitals, and 400 injured people were shot dead in those hospitals at the time,ˈ he added. He said that the Israeli soldiers broke into the homes of the Palestinians overnight when they were asleep, urged the family members to evacuate their homes, and opened machinegun fire on them. ˈIn some cased they pulled out the eye balls of the innocent Palestinians, pulled the skins off the people alive, ripped off the bellies of the pregnant women, raped the girls and women before their horrified family members, cut the children from head to toe into two halves, threw their brains against the walls of their homes, and hanged their split bodies from the light bars,ˈ elaborated the interim Tehran Friday prayers Imam. Ayatollah Movahhedi-Kermani said that the basis of the Zionistsˈ policies in murdering, aggression, and brutality, stressing once again that if the world nations will be properly informed about the criminal acts of the Zionists they would emphatically pray to God for their death. That is while only today, dozens of Palestinians were killed just hours into a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, medics say, after Israel and Hamas agreed to a 72-hour pause in fighting. According to reports from a Rafah hospital, at least 40 people were killed on Friday as Israeli tanks fired shells into eastern Rafah. There was an immediate lull in fighting as the truce began at 8 am local time (05:00 GMT) on Friday. However, less than three hours later, medics reported deaths in the south of the Palestinian territory. Al Jazeeraˈs Nicole Johnston, reporting from just east of Khan Younis in the south, reported ˈa very regular thud of shells from Israeli tanksˈ. Before the beginning of the ceasefire, 14 people were killed in the Gaza Strip, according to medics. For its part, the Israeli army said five of its soldiers had died in mortar fire near the Gaza border. Hopes of an end to the bloodshed had risen early on Friday after US Secretary of State John Kerry announced that Israel and Hamas had agreed to a joint UN-US ceasefire proposal. Both sides swiftly confirmed their commitment to the truce, after 25 days of bloody confrontation. While the proposal was accepted by Hamas, a spokesman stressed it was dependent on Israel reciprocating. ˈHamas and all the resistance movements have accepted a 72-hour humanitarian ceasefire from 8:00am on Friday which will be respected by all these movements if the other party also observes the ceasefire,ˈ Fawzi Barhum was quoted as saying by the AFP news agency. At least 1,464 Palestinians, most of them civilians, have been killed since Israel launched its offensive. Sixty-four Israeli soldiers have been killed, in addition to three civilians killed by rockets fired from Gaza./end
